The Avalanches are a very exciting electronic group hailing from Melbourne, Australia. I believe quite a few people remember their greta single Frontier Psychiatrist back from 2000. They've only produced a single album so far, but they are still signed to Modular Records (For all the ill-informed, Modular is one of the hottest record labels in the scene right now, and they are the lovely people who brought us Wolfmother, Cut Copy and all the other great acts) and the new album is at works. The sooner it comes out the better, because this new track is something really really good!
